This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to cast your Android and Apple phones to your PC and/or MAC.

Workflow: Android → PC
Method 1: With Wifi
Purpose: Mirror Android screen on Windows 10 PC
Application: Connect
Requirements:
- Must have same Wifi connection
- Must have an Android phone
- Must have a Windows PC with Windows 10 Anniversary Update or later edition
Steps:
1. On your computer, navigate to Start and type Connect
2. Launch and click on the trusted Windows Store app from the menu
3. On your Android smartphone, swipe for Notification Center
4. If you see the Cast icon, press the Cast icon continuously until you see the list of devices
5. If you do not see the Cast icon,
- Navigate to Settings
- Select Display
- Search and select Cast option
Note: You will see the list of devices that can cast. Search and select your PC from the list to establish a connection
6. Switching back to your PC, you will see your Android smartphone screen in the Connect application
Method 2: With Wifi/ Creating Wifi hotspot by yourself
Purpose: Mirror Android screen on Windows PC
Application: Airdroid
Requirements:
- Must have Wifi connection
- Must have an Android phone
- Must have a Windows PC with Windows 10 Anniversary Update or later edition
Steps:
1. Navigate to Google Play store
2. Download the Airdroid app
3. Create a new account on the Airdroid app
4. After this you have three different options to cast your phone’s screen:
IP Address
- First connect both your computer and Phone to the same wifi
- Go to the Airdroid app on your phone and open it. Then click Transfer (on the bottom left of the screen) and then click Airdroid Web on the My Devices tab
- The app will display an IP address (as shown in the screenshot)
- Copy the address and paste it into the browser (like Google chrome) and accept the request in your phone. Click the Screenshot menu (Scissor sign) then you are able to view your screen in your windows
Windows Application
– Download the Windows application of Airdroid onto your PC. Go to https://www.airdroid.com/get.html then inside the Desktop Menu you will see Windows logo. Click that and your download will begin
– Log in with the same account created on your Airdroid phone app for Airdroid
– Navigate to the left side of the app screen
– Choose View Only mode
– Select Mirror Menu
Web Version
– Login to the web version of Airdroid: https://www.airdroid.com/en/signin/
– Click the Airdroid Web tab on the top right part of the screen
– Click the Screenshot menu
Method 3: Without Wifi
Purpose: Mirror Android screen on Windows PC
Application: Wondershare Mirror GO
Requirements:
- Must have an Android phone
- Must have a Windows PC and USB Cable.
Steps:
1. Open up your web browser and download the Wondershare MirrorGo software/application on your desktop and install it. You just need an internet connection only when downloading and installing the software. Use this link to download: (https://goo.gl/7A2ATK)
2. Once it is installed, open it. It will give you two options: USB or Wifi. Go with USB
3. Connect your android phone to your desktop with USB cable. Before that, make sure USB debugging is enabled in your phone
4. Your phone is now connected and you can view your Android’s screen to your PC. You can also control your phone from the PC

Workflow: iPhone → PC / MAC (With Wifi)
Purpose: Mirror iPhone on Windows or Apple computer with WiFi
Application: ApowerMirror
Requirements: Must have ApowerMirror downloaded on both iphone and computer devices and both must be connected to the same wifi.
Steps:
1. Navigate to the App Store on your iPhone or iPad
2. Download the ApowerMirror app
3. Get the desktop program for your PC/MAC from www.apowersoft.com/phone-mirror. Click Download in the website and have it installed on your computer
4. Launch the app on both devices and connect them to the same wifi server
5. On your iPhone, tap the Mirror button at the bottom. Once done, tap the name of your computer and hit the Phone Screen Mirror
6. Then, swipe up to see the control center in your iPhone and choose Screen Mirroring and select the name of your PC/MAC
7. Your phone is now successfully mirrored
8. To disconnect, go back to the control center, tap Screen Mirroring then hit Stop Mirroring

Workflow: iPhone → MAC (With cables/Without Wifi)
Application: Built in Quick Time Software
Requirements: Must have USB cables
Steps:
1. Connect your iPhone with your MAC using the USB cable
2. Click QuickTime in your MAC to start the software
3. At the top of your screen click File, then select New Movie Recording. By default, Quicktime will select your MAC’s Webcam as a source
4. To change it to your iPhone’s screen, click the downwards arrow that is on the side of the record button. Then select your iPhone from the list
5. You should now be able to see your iPhone screen on the MAC

Workflow: Android → MAC
Method 1: (With/Without Wifi)
Purpose: Mirror Android screen on Apple computer
Application: ApowerMirror
Requirements: Must use USB cables or connected to the same Wifi (Can use either options)
Steps:
1. Navigate to Google Play Store on your Android
2. Download the ApowerMirror app and install it
3. Get the desktop program for your MAC from www.apowersoft.com/phone-mirror. Click Download in the website and have it installed on your computer
4. Launch the app on both devices and connect your phone with USB cables. Then allow USB debugging mode. After this click on Start Now. Your phone is now mirrored 5. You can also connect wirelessly by clicking the M blue button on the mobile app and connect to the MAC. On your iPhone tap the mirror button at the bottom. Once done tap the name of your computer and hit the Phone screen mirror
Method 2: (With/ Without Wifi)
Purpose: Mirror Android screen on Apple computer
Application: Vysor
Requirements: Must use USB cables or connected to the same Wifi (Can use either options)
Steps:
1. Go to Google Play Store and install Vysor App on your Android device
2. Connect it to your MAC with USB cable
3. Go to your MAC and download the Vysor Extension for Chrome browser in your MAC
4. Visit your chrome applications and click on Vysor. From the look up window select your phone from choose a device prompt. Your android device will be shown. Click View and wait for your devices to be connected
